Thoughts on Bereavement from Petrah

bereavement

This is part of a series of posts on the ‘Wisdom of Fine Feather’, imparted through our former president and Trance Medium, Alan Seymour in front of a live audience. This information comes from another spirit guide, Petrah and not Fine Feather but fits in with the theme of this topic.

Good evening my name is Petrah, Petrah is a name I was given on my entry into Spirit, my name was not Petrah when I was with you. I have no knowledge of my name, for it was never used.

My work within a monastery was less exciting and very varied, but we were made to observe rules, and one rule was to remain silent for many, many long periods. My time here was short compared to your physical lives, but I worked within the monastery, helping the monks who dedicated themselves to observing, in their way, the world of Spirit. I was never able to join them. My work was to feed them, clean for them, work in the fields, produce food. I never was able to achieve the enlightenment that they achieved.

My enlightenment came when I joined others in this world; one I must confess I did not know existed.

I do now.

My work with the monks enabled me to progress Spiritually by providing for them, so you see there are many ways that you can work in aid of your Spiritual progress.

You may wish only to observe, but you will pass on what you have seen to others, that is working for your Spiritual progress. Do not feel you cannot achieve other achievements.

There are those within this church tonight who will confirm that nobody who is here working for the church, nobody initially believed that they would be in such positions, and yet they are here, working to bring you the proof as you say of life after death.

I say life continues; death is not a word in my vocabulary. Death is nothing but the closing of the doors of your physical bodies as they become of no use to you in your Spiritual progress, and you will leave this world all the better for having had the experiences you have had.

Good and bad in your words, all good in mine.

Good experiences envelope so many of your material lives, and even what you call bereavement, where you hunger, pine, for the physical return of your loved ones, but we see that as a good experience. Some of you will understand that, I am sure.

Some of you here benefit from having had the experiences of losing your loved ones.

Some of you will not understand what I am saying, but each time you lose a loved one you perhaps get a glimpse of a life beyond this physical life. You get a glimpse of the light that burns within your mind, that generates itself through your body and nourishes your inner being, nourishes your Spiritual side and makes you a better more understanding person, so that others can benefit from your experiences and you can show compassion built upon your experiences. Can you understand my words?

Can you understand that nothing is wasted, nothing is of no use to you, all experiences are good in that they nourish your personality, your soul, and nourishment is what makes your Spiritual soul evolve?
