This post is part of the series following the wisdom of Fine Feather, given during a trance demonstration by former president Alan Seymour.
I have spoken many times of the people who struggle in their physical lives to gain materially, to hoard the wealth, only for their own self-interest in mind.
My friends, I need not tell you they are never, ever satisfied. You will know of such people who continue to reap material rewards, merely for their own prestige, to maintain their own power, if that is what you call it.
When you look at such people, you will know that deep in their hearts and minds they are not experiencing harmony with others, they are not experiencing the love that is around them in abundance, they are not absorbing the love that is all they need, and as a result, you will find that their physical wellbeing is not as it should be. I ask you to think of those you know, who you can compare with my words, and now think of those you have known who have been satisfied, who have given love without reward, who have cared when care was needed, who have assisted those unable to help themselves, and have never, never considered the material consequences of their actions.
My friends it is state of mind. It is a state of being that you either have understood and nurtured, or you have denied; you have chosen a pathway of greed, material greed.
I again repeat, you will notice those who are pursuing a pathway of materialism are the ones who suffer the most, for they are never satisfied. They continue to experience problems, experience difficulties in progressing in the way that they have set themselves. They never consider those whose lives they share. Never consider that if they were to share the material wealth not only for the benefit of those in need but to satisfy their own Spiritual need, their own mental desires, their own Spiritual rewards, their lives would be enriched beyond that which they aspire to.
Richness of the Spirit, the growth of the Spirit, the compassion that will develop within will be rewarded many, many times over. But while they pursue a materialistic goal, an unachievable goal, because they are never satisfied, it will be detrimental to their progress.
And now may I compare an individual to a country?
There are many, many in your world suffering from homelessness and hunger, suffering from warfare. Children are orphaned, parents, adults are suffering because of the harm experienced in their surroundings and in many parts of your world there are people who have all their needs satisfied by their wealth and yet they want more, and they have more but they do not use it for the benefit of anyone but themselves.
I have spoken of this before. Are you not aware that the worlds resources are plentiful?
Provided by the great creator, your God, the Great Spirit, creator of all that exists, has created enough for all the people in your world. Enough to feed everybody, enough resources to allow mankind to survive physically, and yet the situation exists that I have just described.
This situation is such that it generates disharmony, jealousy, anger, and my friends, strife and warfare because those who have so little feel that they are entitled to share the things that are available and when they are made aware of the abundance of food, minerals, so many things they are not allowed to share, my friends, are you surprised that they in turn will rebel against those who have?
We attempt to influence those who rule your nations, we attempt to break down their mental barriers, their attitudes towards the sharing of the wealth and the food and minerals. We attempt to encourage them to open their eyes, open their minds and allow those who have not, an opportunity to share with those who have.
Friends, may I suggest that in some ways we are successful. It is at the expense of many lives being lost when resistance is felt. Friends, I am one, one individual who brings you observations from our world to yours and there are many, many more on my side of life, yearning to encourage those who will listen, to abandon their ever increasing desires for that which cannot be achieved. The closer they become to that which they desire, the further away it appears, but as I suggested to you, if mankind were to love one another, to show compassion to one another, to share with one another that which they seek, what is instantly available, for there is love in abundance, compassion in abundance, and those two words can lead to the peace that you all desire, and as I began, it begins with individuals. It began with an individual. The attitude of mankind has progressed to the attitude of governments.
