Individual Private Sittings for Evidence of Survival

Croydon Spiritualist Church is pleased to offer individual private sittings with experienced mediums. The primary object of these sittings is to provide evidence of survival through the communication of departed spirits.

What to Expect

During a private sitting, the medium will use their mediumistic faculties to establish a link of communication between those in the spirit world and those in the material world. Acceptance of this communication lies at the heart of Spiritualist philosophy, offering guidance, inspiration, and evidence that life energy is only changed, not terminated, by death.

Important Guidelines for Sitters

To ensure the sanctity and professional standard of our church activities, the following protocols apply to all sittings:

• Pure Mediumship: Our mediums rely solely on their mediumistic faculties. 

  Purpose: Sittings are intended to provide evidence of survival. Mediums will not predict the future, give specific life advice, or provide medical diagnoses.

• Confidentiality: All information of a personal nature confided to a medium during a sitting is treated as strictly confidential.

  Safeguarding: For the protection of both the medium and the child, any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the session.

Terms and Disclosures

In accordance with SNU policy and UK law, please be advised of the following:

• Scientific Experiment: All demonstrations of mediumship and private sittings are considered a form of scientific experiment.
• No Guarantees: While our mediums are highly trained, results cannot be guaranteed.
• Free Will: Recipients participate in the sitting of their own free will and accord.

• Booking: All sittings are by prior arrangement with the consent of the Church Committee.
