Spiritual Healing

Spiritual Healing is a form of Healing where energies from the World of Spirit are channelled to the patient through a Spiritualist Healing Medium.

This can be done by the gentle laying on of hands on to the body of the patient, which is known as Contact Healing or Distant Healing (a short distance between the healer and patient) which is using the direction of thought and prayer. We can also offer Absent Healing where Healing thoughts are sent to a person who is not present.

All of these forms of healing are done in a safe, calm environment at Croydon Spiritualist Church, on Thursdays, 3pm-5pm, and on the last Sunday of each month 12:15pm -1:15pm (donations accepted).

Our Services

1. Our services contain no ritual or dogma, although a standard format is followed.
2. We have hymns followed by an address on Spiritualist philosophy.
3. There is a medium at all of our services who attempt to communicate with our departed loved ones and give evidence of their survival and that they continue to take an interest in our lives.
4. These communications prove that they still live in a world which is accessible to us and to which we will all continue our lives after physical death. Spiritualists call this the ‘Spirit world’.
5. There are three aspects to Spiritualism – it is a religion because we believe in the Fatherhood of God. It is a philosophy based on the Seven Principles and it is a science because it uses repeatable experiments (mediumship) to prove that there is a life after death. This third aspect is unique to our religion, as orthodox religions speak of a life after death but make no attempt to prove it.
